Piccolo Violino is a large scale interactive sculpture. The instrument stands 11 feet long and 4 feet wide, allowing participants to play the laser harp. Its dynamic strings (clear plastic encased LED lights) and exterior lighting are synced with the harp and internal audio system. Interrupting the laser beams prompts a change in color of the exterior lights and music to be played. This violin is the first in a series of large-scale and interactive instruments.
